This studio still life was shot for a restaurant in Manhattan and I based it on paintings I have seen by classical Spanish painters of bodega scenes. All the animals are real and are served, cooked of course, in the restaurant.
wow! First thing i said to myself was "they cant be real" then i read your post. What kind of lighting did you use? I can see the primary light is coming from the right. Did you use a fill light/flash for the left? It seems darker than the right side. Anyways, Composition is awesome. I like how you choose to place certain things.
Awesome! I love how the sources of light are not so harshly direct so we can really see the textures and shapes and curves of everything. Super vibrant colors. (awesome photo but I bet everything would look even better cooked ;) )
